Description
A Savage Model 11 bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, designed for precision hunting or target shooting. This example features a barrel measuring approximately 22 inches, including the installed large three-port muzzle brake. The barrel and receiver exhibit a matte black finish, while the bolt body is decoratively jeweled and carries the Savage brand name and logo. The rifle is mounted in a checkered walnut-finished wood stock that incorporates a raised cheekpiece on the left side, a black rubber Decelerator recoil pad, and integral sling swivel studs. For optics, a Picatinny-style rail is secured to the receiver and currently holds two scope rings. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the barrel as SAVAGE Model 11 6.5 Creedmoor CALIBER and SAVAGE ARMS INC., WESTFIELD, MA 01035 USA. The serial number J581310 is clearly stamped on the right side of the receiver. Please note that the detachable magazine is missing and not included with this lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The matte black finish on the metal components is well-preserved, showing only minor surface wear at the edges of the muzzle brake and Picatinny rail. The wood stock is sound, displaying several light surface scratches and handling marks, primarily on the buttstock and forend. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The bolt action and safety appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
