Description
This Taurus PT 1911 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, based on the classic 1911 design with several performance modifications. It features a 5-inch barrel fitted with a multi-port muzzle compensator and is finished in a two-tone aesthetic consisting of a polished steel slide over a black-finished frame. The handgun is equipped with Heinie combat sights, a skeletonized hammer and trigger, an extended beavertail grip safety, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a magwell extension. The furniture consists of black checkered synthetic grips with a mountain and eagle logo, supplemented by abrasive grip tape applied to the front strap. Verbatim markings include TAURUS and MIAMI, FL. on the left slide, while the right slide is marked PT 1911 and CAL. .45 ACP. The frame is marked FORJAS TAURUS S.A. MADE IN BRAZIL. The serial number NAU 81026 is clearly struck on the right side of the frame, the slide, and the barrel hood. One 8-round magazine marked .45 ACP is included. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in fair condition with significant cosmetic wear. The polished steel slide exhibits widespread surface oxidation, scattered pitting, and numerous handling scratches. The black finish on the frame shows thinning on the high edges and various scuffs. The synthetic grips are intact with moderate wear, and the grip tape shows signs of peeling at the edges. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore is dusty with visible rifling. The magazine shows significant finish wear and minor surface rust.
