Description
A group of three vintage metal smokeless propellant tins intended for ammunition reloading. The collection includes two rectangular DuPont brand cans and one cylindrical Winchester can. The first DuPont container is finished in dark brown and labeled for IMR 4350 smokeless powder. The second DuPont container is finished in pink and labeled for IMR 4895 smokeless powder. Both DuPont cans indicate they were manufactured in Canada for E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. (Inc.) of Wilmington, Delaware. The Winchester tin is labeled for 296 Ball Powder smokeless propellant, manufactured by the Winchester-Western Division in New Haven, Connecticut, and East Alton, Illinois. Each container features prominent danger and extremely flammable warnings, technical specifications, and references to handloader guides on the reverse. All three tins retain their original metal screw caps. The lot represents 3 lbs of powder in total based on the individual container labels.

Condition report:
The tins exhibit typical signs of age and previous use, including minor surface wear, light scuffing, and small localized dents. Light oxidation is present on the exposed metal rims and caps. Adhesive paper inventory tags are attached to the front and sides of each container. The printed graphics and instructional text remain largely legible with some fading and minor losses.
