Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Russian-made Golden Tiger brand 7.62x39mm rifle ammunition, contained in five boxes of 20 rounds each. The cartridges are loaded with 124-grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (FMJBT) projectiles featuring a lead core, designed for stable flight and accuracy. The ammunition is assembled with olive-drab lacquer-coated steel cases and uses non-corrosive primers for reliable ignition and long-term shelf life. Prominent markings on the packaging include Golden Tiger, 7.62×39 FMJBT, and specific callouts for 124 GR, LEAD CORE, STEEL CASE, NON-CORROSIVE. A distinct purple sealant is visible at the junction of the projectile and case neck, as well as around the primer pocket, indicating construction designed for moisture resistance.
Condition report:
The ammunition and cases are in excellent condition, with no signs of corrosion, discoloration, or oxidation on the lacquer finish or the copper-jacketed bullets. The rounds appear to be factory-fresh and live. The cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear and light scuffing, particularly around the corners and edges, but remain structurally sound with all flaps intact.
