Description
This Ruger GP100 is a double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, configured with a six-shot cylinder and a 6-inch barrel featuring a full-length underlug. The firearm is constructed of stainless steel with a brushed finish and is equipped with black rubberized finger-groove grips that incorporate textured panels and the Ruger phoenix logo medallion. A notable aftermarket modification includes a silver-colored Weigand “WEIG-A-TINNY” Picatinny-style optic rail mounted along the top of the frame and barrel; the factory front and rear iron sights have been removed to accommodate this accessory, and the rail itself is marked “GP100GNRS WEIG-A-TINNY.” Technical markings on the right side of the barrel include “RUGER GP100” and “357 MAGNUM,” while the left side states “READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL / RUGER / NEWPORT, NH USA.” The right side of the frame is stamped with the manufacturer’s logo and the serial number “178-68911.” The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in good overall condition, showing some light surface scratches and handling marks, with a faint turn line visible on the cylinder. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The rubber grips are well-preserved with no significant wear or degradation. The action appears smooth with solid lockup.
