Description
This lot consists of a collection of 325 rounds of .22 caliber rimfire ammunition, primarily comprised of .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR) with a smaller quantity of .22 Winchester Rimfire (.22 WRF). The assortment is contained in a variety of original and aftermarket packaging. Notable inclusions are one 50-round box of Winchester Dynapoint Magnum 45 grain .22 Win. Mag. cartridges, one box of Western Super-X Extra Power .22 rimfire cartridges containing loose rounds, and two CCI Maxi-Mag 50-round plastic cases, including one Hollow Point product number 00024 and one standard Maxi-Mag product number 00023. Additional rounds are housed in four translucent orange plastic cases with handwritten labels identifying approximately 35 rounds of Remington .22 W.R.F. and various quantities of miscellaneous .22 Magnum ammunition. Visible headstamps throughout the collection include C for CCI, W for Winchester, U for Remington, and X for Western/Winchester.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in generally good, live condition. The brass cases show varying degrees of age-appropriate tarnishing and surface darkening. Some lead bullet tips exhibit minor surface oxidation consistent with long-term storage. The cardboard packaging shows typical shelf wear, including fraying at the edges, some tearing, and light staining. The plastic cases are structurally sound but show surface scuffing and scratches from handling.
