Description
This Rossi Model 33 is a five-shot, double-action/single-action revolver chambered for the .38 Special cartridge, configured as a compact snub-nose defensive firearm. It features a 2-inch barrel equipped with a serrated ramp front sight and a notched top strap rear sight. The firearm is finished in a traditional bluing and is fitted with two-piece checkered wooden grips featuring silver-tone Rossi logo medallions. Prominent markings include AMADEO ROSSI S.A. SAO LEOPOLDO R.S. on the left side of the barrel and .38 SPECIAL on the right side. The right side of the frame features the Rossi manufacturer’s logo and the import marking MADE IN BRASIL INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA above serial number D 732670. Stamped inside the crane is the model designation M33 along with the assembly number 487Y. The revolver lacks any additional accessories. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in moderate condition with visible holster wear concentrated at the muzzle and on the sharp edges of the frame and cylinder. There are general handling marks, minor surface scratches, and small dings throughout the blued finish. The wooden grips show light wear and minor compression marks to the checkering but remain free of cracks or significant chips. The bore is bright with strong rifling and no significant pitting observed. The action appears to function correctly in both double-action and single-action modes with consistent cylinder timing and lock-up.
