Description
This Ruger American Ranch is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62 x 39mm, designed as a compact and versatile firearm for utility or sporting use. It features a cold hammer-forged barrel with a matte black finish and a factory-threaded muzzle currently fitted with a knurled thread protector. The alloy steel receiver, also finished in matte black, is topped with a factory-installed Picatinny rail mounting a Vortex Diamondback 4-12×40 scope with a Dead-Hold BDC reticle. The rifle is housed in a Flat Dark Earth polymer stock featuring textured grip areas and a soft rubber recoil pad emblazoned with the Ruger logo. Prominent markings include the Ruger logo and RUGER AMERICAN on the left side of the receiver along with the serial number 690299124, while the barrel is marked near the breech with 7.62 X 39. The firearm is equipped with a single detachable box magazine and a tang-mounted safety. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in overall very good used condition. The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver remains consistent, with only minor surface residue noted on the muzzle threads. The Flat Dark Earth stock shows light handling marks and minor scuffs consistent with field use. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action and trigger appear to function correctly, though the firearm has not been live-fire tested. The Vortex Diamondback optic features clear glass and a crisp reticle.
