Description
The Savage Model 111 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, configured for versatile hunting and sporting applications. This example features a synthetic stock and has been finished with a custom, multi-color camouflage spray paint application in tan, light green, and brown tones that covers the barrel, receiver, stock, and optic. The barrel is roll-marked SAVAGE MODEL 11 CAL .30-06 SPFLD. and SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A., while the receiver bears the serial number H484163. The bolt body features an engine-turned finish and is engraved with the Savage name and logo. The firearm is fitted with a Vortex Diamondback 4-12×40 scope with a BDC-style reticle, secured by painted rings. Attached to the buttstock is a tan TUFF brand zippered pouch featuring external cartridge loops and an integrated padded cheek rest. The lot includes one detachable box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle shows signs of heavy field use with significant wear to the custom camouflage finish. Extensive chipping, scuffing, and paint loss are present on high-contact areas of the barrel, receiver, bolt handle, and scope body, revealing the original black finish underneath. The synthetic stock exhibits various minor dings and scratches consistent with handling. The action appears to function correctly, although the firearm has not been function-tested. The bore was not inspected. The Vortex optic is clear with functional adjustment dials. The TUFF stock pouch and magazine are in good, used condition.
