Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Federal American Eagle brand 7.62 x 39mm Soviet centerfire rifle ammunition. The cartridges are loaded with 124-grain metal case bullets, which are full metal jacket projectiles, seated in brass cases. The ammunition is distributed across five individual boxes, with each box containing 20 rounds held in a red plastic carrier tray. Prominent markings on the packaging include AMERICAN EAGLE, 7.62 X 39mm SOVIET, 124 GR. METAL CASE BULLET, and product number NO. A76239A. The cartridge headstamps are marked with the letters F and C at the twelve o’clock position and 7.62 x 39 at the six o’clock position. Several boxes retain vintage price stickers from Sportsmen’s Supply with a California area code, reflecting a historical retail price of $7.99 per box.
Condition report:
