Sold for: $180
Description
A Swiss M1914 Pioneer Sawback Bayonet crafted from steel, featuring a prominent saw-tooth spine on its blade, a wooden grip with two riveted panels, and a steel crossguard and pommel. It is accompanied by a black-painted metal scabbard fitted with a highly deteriorated leather frog. Condition report:
The overall condition is fair to poor, displaying extensive surface rust and heavy patination across all metal surfaces. There is noticeable wear and darkening on the wooden grips. The leather frog shows severe degradation, cracking, and a powdery residue.
