Description
An original WWII US Army M1916 full-flap firearm holster manufactured by Graton & Knight Co. for the Colt M1911 pistol. Constructed from dark brown leather with integrated metal hardware, including belt loops, rivets, and a retention stud. The reverse is prominently stamped “U.S.”, “GRATON & KNIGHT CO.”, and “1938”.
Condition report:
Good, used condition. The leather exhibits significant surface wear, scuffs, and discoloration consistent with age and field use. It presents as somewhat stiff. Stitching remains largely intact but shows wear. Metal components are oxidized and show commensurate signs of use. No apparent repairs or major structural damage observed.
