Description
This lot features a U.S. Military Waterproof Clothing Bag, commonly known in the surplus market as a Flyer’s Kit Bag, accompanied by three smaller waterproof clothing bags. The main bag is a large, olive green duffel-style bag constructed from heavy canvas or nylon fabric. It is equipped with two central reinforced carrying straps featuring prominent orange-red stitching, and a snap-closure flap on one end. The three smaller items are folded, made of similar olive green material, and secured with cord ties. Visible markings on the main bag and one of the smaller folded items clearly state “BAG, WATERPROOF, CLOTHING,” along with the contract number “CONT. NO. QLA 100-86-C-4175,” indicating a 1986 contract year. Also present are the NATO Stock Number “8465-00-261-6909,” and the manufacturer “WT INFLATABLE SPECIALISTS, INC.” The items exhibit a utilitarian, military-issue style.
