A U.S. Navy 2.25″ Rocket Container, Mark I Mod. O, manufactured by A.G.M.CO. in 1945. This utilitarian military-style storage container is likely constructed from aluminum or steel, featuring a hinged lid secured by two front clasps. Stamped markings on the front explicitly identify it as a “2.25 ROCKET CONTAINER MK I MOD. O,” manufactured by “A.G.M.CO.” in “1945,” also bearing a naval anchor symbol and numerical codes “439758 IB FJN.” The interior is lined with a yellowish-green protective coating.
Condition report:
