An original U.S. WWI M1916 .45 Colt 1911 leather holster. Crafted from dark brown leather, the holster features a molded body and stitched edges. The curved front flap is secured by a single black snap closure and is prominently embossed with the letters “US” within an oval. The reverse side includes a wide, stitched leather belt loop and an additional small leather loop, likely intended for a leg tie-down.
Condition report:
The holster exhibits significant age and use, consistent with a vintage military item. Visible scuffs, scratches, surface wear, and varying discoloration are present across the leather.
