Description
A Soviet Military Ushanka Hat. This grey ushanka-style winter hat is constructed from felted wool for the main dome and outer surfaces, featuring shaggy grey faux fur lining the ear flaps and front flap. The interior is finished with a dark blue-grey quilted fabric lining. Inside, a partially legible stamped Cyrillic text reads “ОБЕДИНЕНА фабрика” (United Factory), accompanied by a stamped number “62” and a prominent, hand-painted “62” in white. Grey fabric ties are attached to the ear flaps.
Condition report:
Used condition. Minor surface wear to the felted wool. Faux fur shows matting consistent with use.
