A German Mauser HSc semi-automatic pistol, identified by markings on the left side of the slide reading “Mauser-Werke AG Oberndorf a. N.”, “Mod. H.S.c.”, and “Kal. 7.65mm”, alongside a distinct Mauser banner logo. The pistol is primarily constructed of metal with black, checkered grip panels, likely made from an early polymer or plastic material. The backstrap of the grip features the serial number “820075” above an “X” marking. A red dot is visible adjacent to the safety lever. A separate metal magazine, with six visible witness holes, is also present.
Condition report:
The pistol exhibits significant finish loss, presenting a worn, mottled grey patina across its metal surfaces, with notable areas of surface oxidation and minor pitting. The grip panels show scuffs, wear, and some reddish-brown discoloration. The magazine shows similar wear and discoloration.
