Description
A group of USGI (U.S. Government Issue) ACH (Advanced Combat Helmet) and MICH (Modular Integrated Communications Helmet) helmet pad set suspension systems, 3/4 inch thickness. This lot comprises approximately nineteen individual helmet pads in various shapes including rectangular, oval, square, and round. The pads are predominantly made of foam covered with a textile material in shades of olive green and light gray. Many pads are marked ‘MSA 3/4” with visible manufacturing dates ranging from November 2005 to August 2008. Several larger gray pads bear extensive printed text, identifying them as ‘PAD HELMET, ADVANCED COMBAT,’ detailing specifications such as NSN 8470-01-546-0407, and manufacturer information including GENTEX CORPORATION and Mine Safety Appliances Co., consistently noting a ‘3/4’ or ‘3/4 INCH’ thickness. One gray pad is branded ‘SKYDDEX’ with a Date of Manufacture (DOM) of February 2007.
Condition report:
Overall, the pads appear to be in good, used condition with minor signs of wear and compression consistent with their age and intended use.
