Description
A vintage U.S. military leather pistol holster, stamped ‘HOYT’, ‘1912’, and ‘J.J.M.’ on the reverse, designed for the Colt M1911 pistol. Crafted from natural tan leather with prominent white stitching, the front flap features a large, embossed oval containing the letters ‘US’. The holster includes a flap closure with a black stud, a wraparound leather leg tie-down strap secured by a small brass buckle, black metal rivets, and a D-ring for attachment.
Condition report:
The apparent condition reflects its age and use, showing surface scuffs, scratches, and areas of discoloration or darkening on the leather. It appears to be structurally sound and intact.
