Description
A US Harpers Ferry Model 1795 Flintlock Musket, dated 1810. This antique musket features a dark wooden stock and aged, oxidized metal components. The lock plate is prominently stamped “HARPERS FERRY” above “1810,” and includes a faint eagle or crest marking. Additional barrel markings near the breech display “US” and an eagle head stamp. The musket is complete with its ramrod.
Condition report:
Fair to good antique condition. The wooden stock shows significant wear, dents, and scratches consistent with its age and historical use. Metal surfaces exhibit a dark, oxidized patina. The flint in the hammer appears to be a modern, clear insert.
