The lot contains six light brown paper-wrapped ammunition boxes, one of which is partially opened to reveal copper-colored 7.62x54r cartridges with gray tips and visible red bands near the bullet base. Further loose cartridges exhibit similar copper-colored casings, some with a red primer and a faint ’60’ marking visible on the casing.
Condition report:
All items are in good, used condition, consistent with early to mid-20th-century military surplus. The leather pouches show age-appropriate wear, including minor scuffs, creasing, and some surface abrasions. The metal oil can exhibits some surface tarnishing and minor dents. The paper-wrapped ammunition boxes show creasing and minor tears consistent with storage and handling. The cartridges appear to be in good, stable condition, with some minor oxidation to the casings.
