Description
A scarce U.S. Military issued light brown leather hip holster, manufactured by Hunter Corporation between 1944-1960’s. This holster is primarily designed for WWII S&W Victory model and Colt Commando revolvers Caliber .38 Special with a 4-inch barrel, though itis also compatible with 2-inch barrels and smaller framed Smith & Wesson revolvers. It features stitched construction, an integrated belt loop, and a top retention strap secured by a black metal snap. A stamped ‘E.A.’ marking is visible on the holster’s exterior. This type of holster is associated with Military Intelligence troops.
Condition report:
Used, good condition, exhibiting surface wear, scuffs, and discoloration consistent with age and prior use. Stitching is intact, and hardware is functional.
