Description
A Euroarms of America reproduction black powder percussion revolver, styled after a mid-19th century Rogers & Spencer design. Constructed from blued or dark-finished metal with a fluted six-shot cylinder and smooth wooden grips. The barrel is marked ‘EUROARMS OF AMERICA,’ ‘.44 CAL.,’ ‘ROGERS & SPENCER,’ and ‘UTICA, N-Y.’ The left side of the frame and barrel assembly bears the inscriptions ‘FOR BLACK POWDER ONLY’ and ‘MADE IN ITALY,’ alongside Italian proof marks including ‘PN’ (Polvere Nera – Black Powder) and an ‘AD’ date code, indicating manufacture in 1978. The serial number ‘004825’ is present on the underside of the frame. Presented within an ‘Allen’ brand camouflage soft case.
Condition report:
Good used condition, showing some finish wear, light scratches, and areas of patina on the metal. Minor handling marks are present on the grip.
