Description
This lot comprises four vintage military-style field caps and a single olive-green canvas strap with metal hardware. The first cap is a yellow/khaki peaked cap featuring a German WWII-era embroidered insignia of an eagle clutching a swastika over a black, white, and red cockade, with white piping; its red interior is marked “60” and “D.R.G.M.” (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster – German Reich Registered Design). The second is a grey wool-like peaked cap with white piping and a single brown button, marked “58” inside. The third is a dark green wool-like peaked cap with two brass-toned buttons, containing a tag marked “Grösse 56” (Size 56) in its green lining. The fourth is a camouflage-patterned (likely ‘splinter’ or ‘oak leaf’ style) soft field cap with small metal ventilation grommets and snap closures.
