Description
A WWII US Army Enlisted Visor Cap, olive drab in color and constructed from a wool or wool blend fabric. The cap features a prominent brass-toned insignia on the front depicting the Great Seal of the United States, complete with an eagle, shield, and the Latin motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” It has a shiny dark brown patent-style visor with a dark green fabric underside. The interior is lined with red satin-like material and includes a brown leather sweatband. An “Imperial UNIFORMS GUARANTEED” label with an eagle emblem is present, alongside a separate tag indicating “Imperial 7 1/2” for size.
Condition report:
Good vintage condition. Shows signs of age and use, including minor dust/lint on the exterior fabric, some creasing to the interior lining, and fraying on an internal decorative ribbon.
