Description

A WWII Imperial Japanese Type 14 Nambu semi-automatic pistol, a notable World War II Pacific Theater sidearm. This dark blued steel pistol features a long barrel, a prominent L-shaped bolt knob, and deeply grooved wooden grip panels. Visible markings on the left side of the frame include a stylized Japanese arsenal symbol alongside the serial number “55152” and additional numbers “4141”. The right side bears the inscription “十四年式” (Jūyon-nen Shiki), which translates to “Type 14”, accompanied by safety indicator markings “火” (Hi – Fire) and “安” (An – Safe) with directional arrows. The removable magazine is bare metal, revealing numbers “790”, “571”, “481”, and a small diamond symbol.

Condition report:

The pistol\'s blued finish shows significant wear, loss, and pitting across metal surfaces. The wooden grips appear structurally sound despite visible signs of use. The bright metal grip buttplate exhibits similar wear.
