Lot 498:
Sold for: $350
Description
A Russian Nagant M1895 Revolver, dated 1940. This vintage, solid-frame revolver is constructed from blued steel and fitted with checkered dark wooden grip panels. The left side of the frame features a prominent five-pointed star emblem above the year ‘1940’. The serial number ‘AБ320’ (AB320) is vertically stamped near the cylinder pin. Further visible markings include a diamond shape on the left grip panel screw and the letter ‘P’ on the butt of the grip. The revolver features an exposed hammer and a fluted cylinder.
Condition report:
The metal components exhibit considerable wear, scuffs, and a significant loss of the original blued finish, consistent with age and extensive use. The wooden grips show corresponding handling wear but appear intact.
