Description
A group of three WWII German Luger P.08 pistol magazines. Two magazines feature dark blued steel bodies, while the third exhibits a brighter, possibly in-the-white or nickel-plated steel finish. The baseplates vary: two are bright metal, one marked ‘9835’ and with a proof mark resembling an eagle over a number and ‘fxo’. The third features a black, possibly bakelite or polymer, baseplate with a bright metal button marked ‘1’. The follower of the middle dark-bodied magazine appears to be made of a reddish-brown synthetic material.
Condition report:
Overall fair to good condition, consistent with age and use. All magazines exhibit finish wear, scuffs, and surface grime. The brighter finished magazine shows visible surface wear and oxidation.
