Description
A U.S. Harrington & Richardson (H&R) M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle, serial number 5615200. The receiver is clearly marked “U. S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1 H.& R. ARMS CO. 5615200”. It features a wooden stock and handguards with a dark reddish-brown finish, complemented by parkerized or blued steel metal components. The visible barrel marking confirms “HRA 6535448 4-55 A500”, indicating an H&R barrel manufactured in April 1955. The operating rod is also marked “HRA”. A faint cartouche is visible on the stock. The rifle is fitted with a black fabric sling.
Condition report:
