Description

A lot of 40 rounds of .45-70 Government centerfire ammunition. This lot consists of forty individual cartridges loaded with unjacketed lead projectiles, likely of the flat-nose or round-nose configuration suitable for lever-action or single-shot rifles. The ammunition is stored within two connected, milky-white polymer plastic storage containers, each designed to hold 20 rounds. The cartridges feature large, straight-walled brass casings consistent with the .45-70 caliber. No headstamps or manufacturer markings are visible on the casings or projectiles.
Condition: The brass casings exhibit moderate to heavy tarnish and discoloration consistent with age and prolonged storage. The rounds appear intact, loaded, and unfired. The lead projectiles show minor surface oxidation but are firmly seated. The plastic storage containers are functional, showing light surface wear but no apparent cracks or damage. We have not function-tested this ammunition and cannot guarantee its safety or reliability. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
