Lot 1066:
Sold for: $55
Description
This is a collection of 9 items related to handloading and ammunition reloading, centered around the RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure. The measure features a cast metal body finished in textured green paint and is paired with a translucent green polymer powder hopper marked “UNIFLOW.” The assembly is marked RCBS and PRECISIONEERED. Included accessories are the heavily worn original green and white RCBS packaging box, an instruction manual (which references the RCBS Model 5-10 Scale), a silver operating handle, a black cylindrical metering block, a steel mounting plate for bench mounting, a green plastic cap marked “RCBS,” a knurled drop insert, and a long metering stem. This equipment is designed for throwing consistent powder charges for reloading metallic cartridges. No firearms or ammunition are included in this lot.
Condition report:
The firearm is in heavily worn condition consistent with its age and use as an antique. All original finish, including bluing on the barrels and case coloring on the receiver, is completely absent, resulting in a bright, mottled gray patina across all metal surfaces. There is scattered surface pitting, heavy handling marks, and surface rust present, particularly near the muzzle and action. The laminated steel pattern is no longer visible due to the heavy wear and patina. The wooden stock and splinter forearm exhibit numerous scratches, dings, and heavy wear, with the checkering worn smooth in many areas. The action appears to function correctly, with the hammers cocking and triggers releasing, but we have not function-tested this firearm. The bores show signs of age and likely pitting, consistent with black powder use. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
