Description

A collection of three fixed-blade knives and associated components. The lot includes a fillet-style knife by J. Marttiini Finland featuring a pale wooden handle and a stainless steel blade etched J. Marttiini Finland, Hand ground stainless. This knife bears an inventory sticker 13052. Also included is a hunting knife by Comrie Crafts, Comrie Perthshire, featuring a textured stag horn handle and a stainless steel blade, resting partially in a small black leather sheath. The third primary item is a rustic fixed-blade knife with a handle constructed from animal hide/fur terminating in a dark hoof or claw, featuring a heavily patinated blade marked Sator Made in Germany. Accompanying components include a robust, tooled leather scabbard marked Marttiini Finland and a separate dark, distressed leather handle/sheath section with a metal ferrule.

Condition report:

The overall condition of the lot is Good to Very Good, commensurate with age and storage. The four original cardboard boxes exhibit significant shelf wear, including fraying along edges, staining, discoloration, and minor tears. One box retains a price sticker and handwritten markings on the end flap. The shells visible in the open boxes (Super Speed, Super X, and Duck & Pheasant) are clean, featuring bright red plastic hulls and high brass bases with minimal visible corrosion. The shells appear to be live factory ammunition. We have not tested the function or reliability of this ammunition.
