Description
This is a modern pump-action shotgun identified by receiver markings as a Maverick Model 88, manufactured by Mossberg. The firearm is chambered for 12 Gauge, accepting both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells. The shotgun features a full-length 28 inch barrel, which is equipped with a ventilated rib and bead sights. The barrel markings confirm the gauge and length: "CHAMBERED FOR 2 3/4 AND 3 IN. SHELLS – 12 GA. – 28 IN. ACCU-CHOKE®." The barrel utilizes the ACCU-CHOKE system, allowing for interchangeable choke tubes.
