Condition report:
The overall condition is fair to good, exhibiting heavy finish wear consistent with age and use. The original blued finish is heavily thinned and worn, particularly on the frame and cylinder, where the finish has largely turned to a mottled gray patina with areas of oxidation and discoloration. The barrel retains more of the original bluing, though it shows thinning and surface wear. The bore appears generally clean but may benefit from further inspection and cleaning. The checkered hard rubber grips are intact with sharp checkering and no visible cracks, though the brass grip screw escutcheons show minor wear. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes, with the cylinder locking up appropriately. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
