Description
A Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield semi-automatic pistol, serial number JFE2458, chambered in 9MM. This is a compact, striker-fired pistol featuring a black matte finish on the slide and a black textured polymer frame. The pistol is equipped with fixed three-dot sights and includes a manual thumb safety lever located on the left side of the frame. The slide is marked M&P 9 SHIELD and SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. The caliber 9MM is marked on the barrel hood. The frame is stamped with the warning CAUTION—CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED, indicating the presence of a magazine safety mechanism.
