This lot consists of a set of two (2) LEE RGB (Really Great Buy) Reloading Dies manufactured by LEE PRECISION, INC. The set is intended for the .22/250 Remington caliber. The dies are housed in their original translucent green polymer storage box, which displays the UPC barcode 734307908720 and the kit part number 90872. The packaging also indicates that LEE Shell Holder #2 is included in the kit. The two visible dies are constructed of machined steel with a natural metallic finish. One of the dies is visibly engraved LEE .22/250. This equipment is used for the handloading and preparation of metallic cartridges.
Condition report:
The overall condition is fair to good, showing significant use and age consistent with a field-used rifle. The octagonal barrel exhibits a deep, heavily oxidized brown or plum finish with extensive patina, wear, and surface discoloration. The side-lock mechanism plate shows significant mottling and discoloration, suggesting a heavily worn case-hardened or bright finish with surface oxidation present. The hammer shows wear consistent with the barrel finish. The hardwood stock shows numerous handling marks, dings, and scratches, but appears structurally sound with a visible grain. The fitted leather butt cover is heavily worn, cracked, and stiff, with visible lacing and wear marks on the butt plate area. The action appears to function correctly on both half-cock and full-cock positions, and the double set triggers engage. We have not function-tested this firearm with live powder.
