Description
A single Marlin Model 99 Auto semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. This rifle features the characteristic Micro-Groove rifling barrel and is fed by a tubular magazine located beneath the barrel. The rifle is stocked in hardwood featuring a Monte Carlo comb and is fitted with a black checkered polymer buttplate bearing the Marlin logo. Sighting system consists of a hooded front sight and an adjustable folding rear sight. An accessory scope rail is currently installed on the receiver top, secured by screws. Visible markings on the barrel include “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NEW HAVEN CONN U.S.A. Model 99 Auto-Micro-Groove Barrel,” with caliber markings partially obscured by corrosion but consistent with .22 Long Rifle. A single letter proof mark, possibly “W,” is visible on the left side of the barrel near the receiver. No full serial number is clearly legible.
Condition report:
Both the RIA-MAG pistol magazine and the NEX HOLSTER double magazine carrier are presented in new, unused, retail packaged condition. The packaging shows no significant wear or damage, though a small tear is visible on the RIA-MAG plastic blister pack. The magazine retains 100% of its black finish. The carrier is clean and unworn. We have not function-tested these accessories with a firearm.
