Description
A lot of two boxes of Winchester Drylok Super Steel Magnum Waterfowl Ammunition, 12 Gauge. These are modern, high-velocity, plated steel shot loads intended for waterfowl hunting. Both boxes are marked with the Winchester riding logo and “Ducks Unlimited Proud Sponsor,” indicating their use for conservation-related sponsorship. The first box (left) contains 3 1/2-inch shells loaded with 1 9/16 oz of #2 shot rated at 1300 FPS. The second box (right) contains 3-inch shells loaded with 1 1/4 oz of #4 shot rated at 1400 FPS. The opened views confirm the ammunition features black polymer hulls with gold-colored high brass bases, marked with load specifications such as “DRYLOK” and shell length/shot size in yellow print. The ammunition appears factory loaded and live.
Condition report:
Overall condition is fair. The matte finish on the slide shows general scuffing, scratching, and handling wear consistent with use. The glossy polymer frame exhibits numerous scuffs and marks. The single cross-slot grip screw shows heavy surface rust and corrosion. The accompanying steel detachable box magazine exhibits heavy surface wear, scratching, and multiple visible weld or braze points along its sides, indicating significant modification or repair.
