Description
A collection of 59 centerfire rifle cartridges comprised of three factory boxes of ammunition and several loose cartridges presented in plastic trays. The boxed ammunition consists of three 20-count boxes, totaling 60 rounds if complete, but the lot is guaranteed to contain 59 rounds total. The specific boxed components are: One box of American Eagle (Federal) .30-06 SPRINGFIELD, 150 GR. METAL CASE BOAT TAIL (No. AE3006B). One box of Remington Core-Lokt 7mm REMINGTON MAGNUM, 125 GR. PTD. SOFT PT. (R7MM1). One box of Remington Core-Lokt 7mm REMINGTON MAGNUM, 175 GR. PSP (R7MM3). The loose cartridges are brass-cased with copper-jacketed spitzer projectiles. Visible headstamps on the loose cartridges include R-P 7MM REM MAG and REM-UMC 7MM MAUSER, indicating a mixed caliber lot of 7mm ammunition in addition to the boxed calibers. The total quantity of cartridges in this lot is 59.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows significant wear consistent with heavy use and handling. There is extensive finish loss, scratching, and thinning, particularly along the edges of the barrel, frame, and cylinder. The cylinder exhibits a heavy drag line and numerous surface scratches. The bore condition is not visible but the muzzle appears worn. The polymer grips are intact with good checkering but show minor scuffs and wear. The hammer and trigger retain a bright finish but show some patina. The double-action and single-action mechanisms appear to function correctly when cycled manually, but we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
