Description
A Redding Micrometer Adjustable Crimping Die, Model 31286, designed for use with .44 Special and .44 Magnum calibers. This precision reloading component features bright steel and stainless construction with a black knurled adjustment collar marked with micrometer-style index lines (0-25). The die body is engraved “REDDING 44 SPL / 44 MAG.” The item is housed in its original bright green polymer hinged storage box, which is marked “REDDING RELOADING DIES” and “REDDING-HUNTER INCORPORATED 1082 STARR ROAD CORTLAND NEW YORK 13045.” The box retains the pink product label confirming the model number 31286, caliber compatibility, and indicating a Profile Crimp type. Included in the lot are one small L-shaped black hex key and a set of operating instructions for a Redding Competition Handgun Bullet Seating Die.
Condition report:
The exterior green plastic storage box shows moderate wear, including scuffing and residue from old price tags, notably one marked $ 36.00. The two internal metal reloading dies are clean, bright, and appear to be well-maintained with sharp knurling and clean threads. The instruction booklet is present and intact.
