Description

A collection of three vintage Winchester-branded folding pocket knives. The lot includes three distinct patterns. The first is a 1995 model LB 220 lock-back folder featuring wooden handle scales and brass bolsters, stamped WINCHESTER TRADE-MARK MADE IN U.S.A. The second knife is a larger lock-back style folder featuring brown textured synthetic handles, nickel or silver-tone bolsters, and is prominently marked on the blade as a limited edition WINCHESTER FIRST PRODUCTION RUN 1 OF 1000. The third knife is a multi-blade pattern, identified by the packaging and collector consensus as a Texas Toothpick, model W 15 1036 1/2 CT, dated 1992. This knife features highly colorful, swirling green, yellow, and red resin scales, commonly referred to by collectors as Christmas Tree celluloid. This third knife is housed in its original black presentation box with a red felt interior.

Condition report:

The press is in used condition, consistent with regular operation. The original textured green enamel finish shows significant wear, chipping, and scratches, particularly around the mounting points and linkage areas. There are scattered areas of discoloration and surface corrosion (patina) visible on the cast body and the steel ram linkage components. The steel ram itself appears smooth and functional. The operating handle moves freely, and the mechanism appears to cycle correctly, though we have not function-tested this press with live ammunition or dies. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure the item is properly cleaned, lubricated, and calibrated before use.
