Lot 1424:
A Collection of 15 Rifle Sight Components and Mounting Hardware
Sold for: $50
Description
A collection of 15 steel firearms parts primarily consisting of rifle sight components and associated mounting hardware. The lot includes five open leaf rear sight assemblies, two receiver sight mounts or bases (one long, one short), and one small serrated adjustment lever. The sight assemblies generally feature pointed ends, consistent with older sporting or military rifle designs, though no specific model attribution can be made due to the absence of markings. Also included are seven pieces of accessory hardware: three heavily surface-rusted wood screws and four smaller blued hex-head machine screws accompanied by one matching nut. No manufacturer, model, caliber markings, serial numbers, or proof marks are visible on any component.
Measurements: Not applicable.
Condition report:
The case is in good overall condition, consistent with standard use and transport. The black polymer exterior exhibits minor superficial scuffing and handling marks, but there are no visible cracks or structural damage. All plastic latches and hinges appear intact and functional, securing the case firmly when closed. The interior egg crate foam is present and serviceable, showing minor compression marks but no significant tears or degradation.
