Gun Collectors Dream Auction #81 January 31st & Feb 1st
Lot 1473:
Sold for: $85
Description
A Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Top-Break Double Action Revolver, consistent with the "Automatic Ejecting" models manufactured in the late 19th or early 20th century. This example features a five-shot fluted cylinder and an exposed hammer. The top-break mechanism allows for simultaneous extraction upon opening. The grips are dark, molded hard rubber or gutta-percha featuring an ornate floral or scroll pattern, secured by a brass escutcheon. The caliber is unmarked, but the five-shot configuration suggests it was originally chambered for a smaller cartridge, likely .32 S&W Short or Long.
Visible markings on the barrel rib read: HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON WORCESTER, MASS, U.S.A.
No serial number is visible or legible due to wear and corrosion.
This firearm is likely classified as Curio & Relic (C&R) or potentially Antique, depending on the exact manufacturing date.
Measurements: Not available.

It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding high-capacity magazines.
