Condition report:
The overall condition is well-used, consistent with a field gun. The barrel retains a worn, matte blued finish with minor surface wear and handling marks. The receiver exhibits heavy finish loss, showing substantial brown patina and areas of light surface rust, indicative of aging blued or potentially case-hardened steel. The hardwood buttstock and fore-end show significant cosmetic wear, including numerous scratches, scuffs, and areas where the gloss finish has chipped away, particularly near the buttplate and fore-end edges. The action appears to function correctly, cocking and releasing the hammer when the lever is operated. The firearm features a black checkered plastic buttplate marked ITHACA GUN CO INC. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
