Description

A lot consisting of 134 rounds of handloaded centerfire rifle ammunition chambered for the .270 Winchester (.270 Win) cartridge. This lot of .270 win ammunition is offered complete with the plastic storage containers. The ammunition is housed in three MTM-style plastic storage containers, two translucent green and one translucent light blue. The blue container is marked “.270” and includes a Sierra the Bulletsmiths label detailing specific load data, including the use of WIN MAG primers, powder type, and bullet weight. The green boxes also contain detailed handwritten load data labels documenting various bullet weights, including 130 grain and 150 grain, along with specific powder charges and muzzle velocity estimates. The cartridges feature bright brass casings and copper-jacketed Spitzer-type projectiles, some with exposed lead tips and some appearing to have polymer tips, consistent with high-performance hunting or target loads.

Condition report:

The pistol retains approximately 80-85% of its original high-polish blued finish. There is notable finish loss and thinning, particularly on the sharp edges, the muzzle, and along the slide serrations, consistent with holster wear and handling. The bright polished trigger and hammer show minor surface scratching but remain bright. The polymer grips are intact with sharp checkering, though they show some dirt accumulation and minor wear. The bore condition is unknown as the firearm was not disassembled. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer\'s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
