Sold for: $200
Description
A Charles Daly Model 301 Pump-Action Field Shotgun, 12 Gauge, 3" chamber, serial number 20PA12Z-1104. This modern pump-action shotgun features a matte black finish on all metal components and is fitted with black synthetic furniture, including a buttstock with a rubber recoil pad and a textured fore-end. The barrel is equipped with a ventilated rib and a brass bead front sight, consistent with a field configuration. Markings visible on the barrel indicate the importer as Chiappa Firearms, Dayton, OH, and the country of origin as Merak – Made in Turkey. The receiver is marked Charles Daly. The shotgun is accompanied by its original Charles Daly branded cardboard box, which confirms the model specifications and includes the manual, a choke wrench, and a small plastic case containing two stainless choke tubes (MC-3 system).
BBL: 28 inches
Condition report:
The cans are in used military surplus condition. The olive drab finish shows moderate wear, surface scuffs, scratches, and minor paint loss consistent with field use and storage. There is evidence of minor surface oxidation (rust) primarily along the edges and seams, but the structural integrity appears sound. The gaskets are present in the lids, and the latch mechanisms function correctly, providing a watertight seal when closed. The interiors are generally clean.
