Description
This lot consists of a collection of Ed Brown magazines and related accessories for 1911-style pistols chambered in 9mm. The total lot count is 7 items, as per inventory. The primary components are eight detachable box magazines constructed of heat-treated stainless steel with a brushed finish. These magazines are identified by an included product label as “Government Nine Round 9mm Magazine” for 1911 pistols. The magazines feature numerous witness holes along the body, and the caliber “9MM” is clearly marked on at least one magazine body. The stylized “EB” logo (Ed Brown) is present near the base plate of each magazine. The base plates are secured by screws, and the follower area of one base is marked with the inscription “PATENTED” and Patent No. 6,560,907. Also included in the lot are two loose black polymer basepads, each marked with the “EB” logo, and six small silver mounting screws. Condition report:
Both items are in heavily used industrial condition. They exhibit extensive surface wear, heavy grime buildup, oxidation, and surface pitting consistent with their age and function. The C-frame press shows significant surface oxidation and rust, particularly on the attached mounting plate. Mechanical function appears intact but has not been tested with load.
