Description

This lot consists of a RCBS X-Die Small Base Die Set, Part Number 39262, designed for reloading the .308 Winchester (.308 WIN) cartridge. The set includes two steel reloading dies: a sizing die and a seating/crimping die. The dies are housed in the proprietary green polymer storage box marked "RCBS." Visible markings on the dies confirm the caliber as ".308 WIN." The box label identifies the set as GROUP X-DIE and notes that a #3 Shell Holder is required (shell holder is not included). The dies feature heavy knurling on the locking rings and adjustment knobs. The Small Base configuration is specifically designed for reloading ammunition intended for semi-automatic or tight-chambered rifles.
Condition: The overall condition is good to very good. The two steel dies appear clean, bright, and well-maintained, showing minimal evidence of use. The locking rings and adjustment knobs function smoothly. The proprietary green polymer storage box shows typical light surface dust and handling wear consistent with storage on a reloading bench. The original side label is present but shows a slight tear near the top edge. A small piece of packing material remains inside the case. We have not function-tested this reloading equipment. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure proper setup and safe use of all reloading components.
