Lot 172:
A Lot of 100 9mm Luger and 9mm NATO Full Metal Jacket Pistol Cartridges
Sold for: $30
Description
This lot consists of 100 centerfire pistol cartridges packaged in two retail boxes originally intended to hold 50 rounds each. The ammunition is 9mm caliber, consisting of both standard 9mm Luger and higher-pressure 9mm NATO specifications, both utilizing 124 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) bullets. The lot includes one American Eagle box labeled 9mm Luger (124 Grain Ball F.M.J., Product No. AE9AP) and one Winchester box labeled 9mm NATO (124 GR. Full Metal Jacket, Product No. Q4318). The cartridges are brass cased with copper/tombac jacketed projectiles. Examination of the visible headstamps shows a mix of manufacturers, including WCC (Winchester Cartridge Company) and FC 9MM LUGER (Federal Cartridge), indicating the contents are mixed and may not correspond exactly to the manufacturer labeling on the external boxes.
Condition: The ammunition appears to be in new-old stock condition, with bright brass casings and clean jacketed bullets showing no signs of corrosion or significant tarnish. The external cardboard packaging exhibits minor shelf wear, light soiling, and slight creasing consistent with storage. The lot is sold as a collectible item only. We have not function-tested this ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
