Description

A lot of 60 rounds of vintage Remington Accelerator? centerfire ammunition in 30-06 Springfield (Sprg.) caliber. This lot consists of three factory boxes, each containing 20 cartridges (Product R30069). The ammunition features the distinctive Accelerator design, utilizing a plastic sabot to launch a lightweight 55 grain Pointed Soft Point (P.S.P.) projectile at extremely high velocities, intended to mimic the ballistics of the .223 Remington cartridge in a larger rifle platform. The green and yellow boxes are clearly marked Remington Accelerator 30-06 Sprg. 55 GRAIN P.S.P. CARTRIDGE. Visible headstamps on the brass casings read R-P 30-06 SPRG. The ammunition is housed in original white factory trays. This ammunition is highly sought after by collectors due to its unique design and limited production run. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws regarding the purchase and possession of ammunition.
Condition: The ammunition is in excellent, unspent condition, consistent with factory packaging. The brass casings are bright with no visible corrosion or tarnish. The plastic sabots and projectiles are intact. The three cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, rubbing along the edges, and remnants of adhesive labels and price tags, but remain structurally sound and legible. As this is live ammunition, we have not function-tested the cartridges.
